A Residential Trash, Recycle and Roll Off Company

Pro Disposal is heavy on Customer Service
In September 1999, RJ Foos and Dennis Ball left their positions at Waste
"All we could do as managers was offer up an excuse and not do anything about
it" Foos said. "We wanted more control".
Pro Disposal has grown as fast as the suburbs that they service. The company
started off with two employees, one trash truck and 200 customers. Today the
company has over 32 employees, 26 trucks and 34,000 customers.
Dennis Ball says that the company gains around 600 new customers a month.
"We could open the floodgates more if we wanted to, but the bottom line is that
you better be able to handle it".
Foos and Ball pride themselves on customer service. For them the little details
are the most important. "People are so use to bad service that they think it is the
norm. I had a customer I had to sell our services to, who said the trash
company he had showed up the day after they were supposed to 70% of the
time. Finally, I was able to sell the customer. There are just bad traditions for
bad service. It happens any where you go. Our philosophy is to take care of the
customers by providing the service they expect."
These expectations include setting the empty trash cans by the garage door
competitors. Expectations on customer service are also very apparent in their
front office staff, who are always available to answer customers questions.
Customers who call the office are never left on hold and office voice mail is
checked every 15 minutes.
Caring for the customer and providing exceptional customer service are the
goals of Pro Disposal.
