How do I place my Pro Disposal account on Vacation Hold?

For your convenience,Pro Disposal & Recycling offers a Vacation Hold; to qualify for a credit, the service must be on hold for a period of 2 weeks or more. Simply call our office and tell one of our customer service representatives the dates you would like to put a hold on your trash/recycling service.

How Do I Reactivate Services After a Vacation Hold?

Your recycling and/or trash services will be reactivated after the last week of the hold period.

How Do I add or Subtract New Trash & Recycling Services?

To add or subtract any of our services, please contact our office at (303)791-3827 or fill out a customer inquiry form on our website and a customer service representative will contact you.

Why Does My First Trash Bill Have a Proration Period?

If you start service mid-month your first invoice may reflect charges for services already received. (Pro Disposal & Recycling invoices in advance of pick-up.)

How Does Trimester Billing Work?

Please be aware that Pro Disposal & Recycling bills on a yearly or trimester (once every 4 months) schedule, which is different than most other Trash/Recycling service providers. We do this so our customers have fewer payments per year.

I have questions about the charges on my trash bill. Who can help?

One of our Customer Service Representatives would be happy to answer any questions you have regarding the fees on your bill. Please call our office at (303) 791-3827 or complete an online inquiry form and a Customer Service Representative will contact you within 24 hours to address your concern.

Why Is there an Admin Charge on My Refund Request?

When service is discontinued for whatever reason, a refund administrative processing fee will be assessed and discounts on annual payments voided. The fee only applies to refund requests and not cancellations at the end of the payment period.

How Do I Report a Problem with My Trash Service?

We take pride in providing the best trash and recycling services possible. If the roads are open, safe for our employees and the public, then well be there to pick up your trash/recycling. Be sure to have your trash & recycling in front of your house at 7:00 a.m. on your pickup day.

What is Pro Disposals Missed Pickup Policy?

If it is before 10 a.m., our driver will knock on the door as a courtesy reminder.

A door hanger or sticker will be left acknowledging we were there, but that no trash was out curbside.Pro Disposal & Recyclingmay charge a same day $35.00 Go-Back fee if we were unable to pick-up because trash/recycling was not curbside at the scheduled time. $90.00 for other than scheduled service day.

Will My Trash be Picked Up During Inclement Weather?

We are fortunate to live in a wonderful area that experiences the four seasons. At times, in our judgement, weather will make it unsafe to operate. If this occurs, we will attempt to service the following day, weather permitting. At times, it may be necessary to delay pick-up to the following week. If this occurs, we ask that you bag up your extra trash and we will pick-up on your next service. Up to three one week delays in service due to weather is factored into our service price. Why Did the Price of My Service Change?

The cost of providing reliable and safe service increases over time. The many factors include increased, landfill, benefits, insurance, truck maintenance and labor costs. Greater congestion on the roads, increased regulatory requirements as well as reduction in recycling values.

What is Pro Disposal’s Cancellation Policy?

When a customer calls to initiate service much like a utility service i.e. water and electric, the agreement is that we provide service until a cancellation request is received. If payment is not received within 30 days of the new bill cycle, then service will be suspended. Customers are financially responsible for service while the account is active regardless of the customers usage.To avoid charges, customer must call our office at (303) 791-3827 and notify us of cancellation. If a customer has entered a contract with our service, appropriate fees will apply for early cancellation.

There’s a Holiday on My Normal Trash Day. Will My Trash Get Picked Up?

Pro Disposal & Recycling trucks operate Monday- Friday but like most companies we do observe Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Years Day. On the weeks where an observed holiday occurs on a weekday, service will be delayed one day on the day of the holiday and the days following. Please review our holiday schedule for holiday specific information.

Can I Schedule a Special Item Pickup?

For a small additional fee,Pro Disposal & Recycling will pick up unwanted items taking up space at your home. Please call our office 24 hours in advance at (303) 791-3827 or complete an online inquiry form and a Customer Service Representative will contact you within 24 hours to schedule your Special Item pickup. Please see our Helpful Facts page for a list of common items and costs.

What Happens if I Put My Special Items Out but Forgot to Schedule a Pickup?

Pro Disposal & Recycling’s policy is to take any items (within reason) to ensure a clean community. Our drivers will take most items left curbside and leave a notice at the residence that the pickup will be added to their account and invoiced accordingly.

Pro Disposal offers Unlimited Pickup of Household Trash. What Does That Mean?

Pro Disposal accepts unlimited collection of solid waste, including, but not limited to disposable products, food packaging, food scraps, newspapers, magazines, etc. Household trash does not include disposal of items such as electronics, hazardous materials or construction debris. Please see below for a complete list of items Pro Disposal cannot accept.

What Items Can Pro Disposal Not Accept?

Pro Disposal cannot accept the following items:

Overweight Bags/Cans

The maximum weight of a can or bag is 40 lbs. If a bag or can is overweight, it will be tagged as overweight. Normal return charges will apply if asked to return sooner than next pick-up schedule. Can/ bag weight will need to be reduced to 40 lbs or less.

Hazardous Materials

Many household items may be harmful to you, your family, animals, and the environment if disposed of improperly. Hazardous items should never be thrown in the trash, poured down the drain or storm sewer, left at the curb, or left in your alley.

Electronic Materials

As of July 1, 2013, in accordance with Colorado’s Electronic Recycling Jobs Act (SB 12-133, 4/20/12), which bans the disposal of electronic waste in Colorado landfills,Pro Disposal & Recyclingcan no longer accept electronic devices in the trash. However, there are many options for electronic recycling! Please refer to the City of Denver regulations on this.
