In September 1999, RJ and Dennis left their positions at Waste Management to begin their own local trash company. All we could do as managers was offer up an excuse and not do anything about it, RJ said. We wanted more control.
In April 2016 Scott Eden purchased the company. Sharing similar experiences, Scott started his own company years ago in Carbondale, CO and enjoys being part of the greater Denver community again.
When Pro Disposal began in 1999, the company had just one truck servicing 200 total customers. Since, the business has grown to staff 60-full time employees with a fleet of over 40 trucks servicing over 60,000 customers across nearly 50 zip codes in the Denver Area. Pro Disposal is proud to be the trash and recycling provider for the city of Lone Tree and the exclusive preferred provider of the Highlands Ranch Community Association.
In 2017, Pro Disposal made its first venture into the commercial space, completing an agreement with Douglas County government to provide waste hauling for fairgrounds, the Sheriffs office, public works building and all county facilities.
By 2020, Pro Disposal plans to grow commercial business to account for roughly 25% percent of gross revenues while maintaining the same exceptional residential service its customers have come to expect over the years.
Pro Disposal earned BBB accreditation in 2000 and carries an A+ Rating.
Today, Pro Disposal prides itself in being a leading, local recycling and trash company people have come to trust, providing honest, dependable service in the communities it serves.
With Pro Disposals Elite Pro Service, customers enjoy weekly pickup of unlimited household waste and 15 bags of yard waste by drivers who go the extra mile to return empty containers back to the garage area.
Its the little things that help set Pro Disposal apart from the competition, but the larger vision that has helped the company grow from its humble beginnings in 1999 to become the trusted local trash company it is today.
